Just Breath Queen Bee, BREATH!!

Okay, so I’ve been missing in action lately and we have been so busy that I almost forgot to BREATH! I even dropped the ball on the Advent study, but hopefully you saved the link and have been visiting and studying it for yourself. It has helped to keep me grounded these days, that’s for sure. If you didn’t save it, here it is for last Sunday. Don't forget that there are also mid-week devotions to help you recharge. :)

A small note about this devotion.  Where and how did we humans forget about the awesome, SUPERNATURAL, wonders that Jesus manifested so many many years ago?  Truly ponder those events, and try to imagine the reactions of the gentiles and believers around him...how is it that such awe inspiring events have sizzled out to a tiny flicker?  What would you think today if you witnessed someone raise another from the dead!  Would you take off running in the other direction?  I would, I hate zombies!!!  But if I was looking at something awesome coming from the East, I'd head that direction!  Has this holiday season got you going in the wrong direction...well turn around and see who is calling you back in the right direction!

Anyway, there I go again, so yesterday was B3’s birthday! She is 5 years old now…and lost her first tooth on Tuesday night! OMG…I’m getting old(er). So yesterday I fixed her favorite breakfast item, French Breakfast Muffins (look for the recipe in the Kitchen tab). It is tradition for me to stick a candle in their favorite breakfast item, which is usually a pancake, but today I couldn’t find my small candles, so I put the #5 on there! Of course, we all sang Happy Birthday and she has received birthday calls from her aunts and grandparents.
By the way, once again my camera has the wrong date on it...I'll fix it on day.

She decided on a Christmas Candy Land them for her birthday and I have the cake on order. I can’t wait to see it! We have a gingerbread house to put together this weekend for her party and today I made a huge gingerbread man cookie!!!! I’ve never made a huge cookie before, but it was easier than I imagined! I don’t have ginger or molasses on hand…and I’m not going out in the icy weather, so I used my Easy Cookie recipe (again, find it on the Kitchen tab) and added some cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves to give it that spiced flavor. Not sure how it will taste, actually, but look how cute! B2, B3, and B4 instructed me on how to decorate it, so here it is!

I hope you are having a fun time with your kiddos and family during this holiday season!!

Buzz ya later,
Queen Bee
