Whew! Has it been that long since I last blogged? Well, I guess time flies when you're having fun with your new feet! Yes, on November 5th the doc released me out of the bondage of those big brace boots and I haven't stopped since!! LOL Not really, but I have definitely been trying out my new feet and they are doing pretty well. I do have days when they really bother me though and by the end of the day my legs and feet are hurting pretty bad. I also still have quite a bit of stiffness in all of my toes and it is still very tricky to walk down steps. I only started walking down the steps simultaneously this past week! I can't do it very well in my bare feet, but with shoes it is getting much easier. The more I use them, the better they do feel. :) I actually went Christmas shopping today! I told King B that if my feet were to stay like this for the rest of my life, it is better than the way they were, if they tells you anything of how bad my feet hurt before I had this surgery. It is just amazing how much ones feet affects everyday life and well being.
Since I've been more mobile, we have really been working on getting the school room better organized and the girls are really enjoying their new spaces. :) I must say they are so much more productive, and so am I! It is especially nice to not have our dinning room table cluttered with books and projects. I'm very blessed to have this extra space...now if I could only figure out what to do with ALL those toys! I thought I had them under control, but lately they are coming out of hiding and have taken over again!!! I told King B it is time to purge the toys BIG TIME. Only problem is the kids can not be around when I do or they might just start a rebellion!!
Well, hopefully it won't be too long before I blog again. I have pics of a mini-office that I've been working on that I want to share as well as the new set up of our school room. So if I forget, someone yell at me!
Below you will find a picture of B3's play doh bunnies and their house. I finally got over my play doh worries and let B3 and B4 play with play dough all day during school time on Thursay. They had a blast making all sorts of animals. B3 decided to set up a home for her creations!
Buzz ya later!
