Renee and Samantha chatting and "clucking like old hens" is what my husband said!!!

I enjoy our gatherings so much. I haven't felt comfortable for a long time now having company over just because I never knew what my schedule was going to be from one day to the next! But now that things have evened out a little I can plan more time for important relationships. Having one, not to mention a handful of other ladies that I can go to when I'm having a Mommy Meltdown, or being kicked in the face by life, is a wonderfu gift to have. My husband is supportive of my moments....for the most part, but it is a blessing to share with someone who has first hand experience with the same struggles of home and homeschool! The hubby is usually the "Principal" that I have to go to, after the fact, when the children (especially Calvin & Hobbes) do not listen very well and I've had to resort to loosing my temper over ill behavior. I do not believe that I am to be the only disciplinarian in the house and because Phillip does work alot, it is VERY important for the kids to realize that daddy plays a very big role in this house as well.
Well enough of my rambling. I have lots to do today. Hopefully I will get started on a bluejean skirt that I'm making for Jessica and the curtains for Calvin & Hobbes's room. I'll post some pics when they are finally done....don't hold your breath though...Jessica may grow out of the skirt before I actually get it done!!!! LOL
The kids having a blast just playing and hanging out!

"Cluck, cluck, cluck!" Jonie I love the photos, especially your four doing school around the table. :)
ReplyDeleteLouna says "Yup! Rhian hasn't taken that shirt off since that picture was taken." (He has - I've washed it multiple times.)
ReplyDeleteI'll second the "Cluck, Cluck"!
ReplyDeleteMy kids and I love our visits together. When we plan a "play date" it is just as much for my sanity as for theirs. Both of you ladies and your children are a blessing. Thank you for teaching me knitting and crocheting. Now each time we go to the store Allie and I have to look for some yarn :)
