Happy Birthday Jessica!!!

My baby is 12!!! Isn't she so pretty! I must say she is a very sweet young lady. She has become a very bright girl and has blossemed in so many ways these past few years. We have basically celebrated her birthday all this month of February. Her birthday was on the 9th but we were not able to get the party scheduled at the bowling alley until the end of Feb. Everyone had a great time and she had some friends spend the night.

I can't believe that my baby girl is such a little lady now! She was predicted to be about 9 lbs. when she was born...and she was!!! At that time my father and mother were still here on earth and I remember how silly they were acting, as well as my in-laws! My mother and mother-in-law hid in an adjoining closet to my room so they could hear and try to see what was going on.

She is VERY artistic and loves to draw. She can look at an object or a picture and pretty much recreate it on paper. I as well as her dad have been extremely impressed at her work and encourage it at every chance. I'm in the process of getting to together some pics of items she has drawn so be on the lookout. I spied her looking at some books we have of van Gogh and Monet and she was very much interested in the works. It is those moments that I am so grateful to God that I am able to homeschool my children and cater to their talents and interests!!

Well, it is off to bed now. A couple of my homeschool friends came over today and we had a great time of crocheting and knitting. I'll blog about that later!! Sleep is calling...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
