Ok, so I went to Cedar Springs Christian Bookstore with Samantha yesterday because she said they have used homeschool books. I found 10 books for pretty cheap, and no tax! And I found Anna Comstocks Nature Study Guide so that was worth the trip!!! So I was excited about my finds and decided this rainy day was a great time to go through my books in the "schoolroom" (which is actually my dinning room) and reorganize some stuff. It is so refreshing to go through things and find stuff that you've forgotten about!!
The best part about this whole day was just a few minutes ago. I have set up two plastic drawer boxes for The Littles, with 3 drawers each to test out the workbox system. When Kevin got up he noticed the boxes and asked me what I was doing. I told him I was putting his school stuff in his boxes and showed him what was in them. I was very surprised later to find his coloring book, which he got yesterday at an egg hunt, in the correct box with his other coloring stuff! How smart! I did not tell him to put his things in there, he did it! Later when Julie woke up, she also noticed the boxes and Kevin told her where hers and his are at! He was so cute when he aske me why I was organizing...of course the way he said that big word was funny sounding and so cute!!
Well, I must get back to organizing and planning for this week. Maybe I'll remember to take some pics while everything looks so nice!
