My little guy turns 3 today!!! And what better way to celebrate than with a pancake birthday treat! Can you tell by his hair he had just woke up!!! :) And his big sister Julie sitting by already in her Princess attire!
I just can't believe it...really it seems like yesterday that I had just came home from a prenatal visit only to call the doc back and tell him I AM IN LABOR! I had told the doc and everyone else that day that something was different and that I was having contractions (as a matter of fact for 3 days). But the machines never picked up anything that proved my hunch! So here we go back to the hospital, calling all the family telling them "The Boy" is coming. We had not picked out a name yet! I get to the O.R. and the moment I get onto the table to prep for my c-section...my water breaks!!!
Needless to say, I had a pretty normal c-section but both baby and I end up in the recovery for over 4 hours because my temp and blood pressure gets so low that they put me in a bear hugger. Kevin's temp is low as well as his blood sugar. I was gestational during the pregnancy and did not have time to stop the meds before giving birth because Kevin decided to make a quick get away! He is still making a quick get a-way! LOL
He is a prayer answered and I am so thankful for him. I knew that my fourth child would be my last birthed child and I prayed that God would give me, and the hubby especially, a boy. He is my little man and I pray for his protection always...Angel's in Heaven already know he needs special attention!
