Museum Day!

This week is the first week back to home school for us and so far it has been productive! Yesterday we took an unexpected trip to the McClung Museum. Things like that sometimes happens when the King Bee takes a half day off from work!  The kids had a lot of fun. As a matter of fact...I'm not sure which exhibit they all liked the best.  Hold on, let me ask them.......

B1 She liked the Battle of Fort Sanders.  She loves anything about the Civil War! http://mcclungmuseum.utk.edu/permanent/civilwar/index.shtml

B2  She liked the Owl & Woodpecker photo exhibit.  This would be my favorite too!  They even had pellets to look at!  How cool...gross, but cool!!

B3 She liked the Dog Burial  that was in the floor inside the Archaeology & Native Peoples of Tennessee exhibit.  I hope when she becomes an Archaeologist that she takes me with her on some of her digs, cause I dig it!!!

B4 He liked the Ancient Egypt exhibit.  He loved the Amun-Ra Temple model on display.  Actually, he was buzzing around like he didn't know what to look at first!    http://mcclungmuseum.utk.edu/permanent/egypt/egypt.shtml
